That did the trick!  Thank you ever so much for your assistance.  I am
not all that familiar with gdb and C++, but I think that I'll have to
learn a bit more about them after this impressive demonstration. :-)

I would also like to add that your latest Tcl module makes extending
Svxlink *very* easy.  I added on-demand weather information from my
local Davis Vantage Pro in about an hour.  My ultimate goal is to use
Svxlink to create something like the Las Vegas "QST Machine"
[http://www.lvrac.org/qst.html] to assist visiting hams with local
information.

Great news that you got everything working. Even better that you have
developed your own module in TCL :-)  I'm interested in hearing more
about your weather information module.

A local information module is also a good idea. Please post to this list
when you have a framework for such a module. It should be quite easy to
implement in SvxLink. No cartridge machines necessary ;-)
